i just feel the need to point out that annie and abed have a secret handshake by the end of season 1 and it's not really made a big thing of like his handshake with troy, but it's there and it's how they say goodbye to each other and it's really fluid and practiced and i just want to know, like, when and how they came up with it (bc it probably doesn't have an explanation like the one we get for his and troy's in season five) and when they started doing it, like, i just Really, Really need to know at what point in season 1 they became close enough for a secret handshake!!!! hello!!!

this might be a stupid opinion but i feel like part of the reason hardly anyone got behind the idea of annie and abed was because of racism and ableism that makes us think that the pretty white girl love interest cannot be paired with the brown and autistic side character

if abed was not either of those things, there would be way more people rallying behind them instead of justifying that they were solely platonic
